NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) – FINAL PUBLIC HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Village of Scotia will hold a public hearing on June 10, 2026 at 7:00 PM, at 4 North Ten Broeck Street for the purpose of discussing the completion of a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funded project.
The Village was awarded $1,000,000 in CDBG funds through the New York State Office of Community Renewal (OCR) to support ADA accessibility improvements as part of the Village Hall renovation project.
The purpose of this hearing is to:
- Review the activities completed under the CDBG program
- Discuss the use of CDBG funds
- Present project outcomes and accomplishments
- Provide an opportunity for public input and comments
The project addressed a National Objective by benefiting persons with disabilities through ADA accessibility improvements.
The hearing location is accessible to persons with disabilities. If special accommodations are needed for persons with disabilities or those with limited English proficiency, please contact Maria Schmitz at least [3–5 days] prior to the hearing.
