Municipal Facilities Project Update

The building committee continues to meet on a bi-weekly schedule to further develop the overall floor plans for the fire station and municipal building. The design teams have reached the 60% complete milestone for the fire station portion of the project, and those documents are currently under review by HB. There will be an open public comment session on Saturday, Nov. 19th from 11am to 2 pm. It will be held at The Village Hall. This open comment session will be presented by the design team H2M. They will have several elevations of the new station and will be looking for comments / feedback on the aesthetics, materials, and colors of the building exterior.
The overall project schedule has not changed since the September 10, 2022 update.
Additional work has been completed to advance the design of the village hall renovation including hazardous material survey and structural analysis. This information will be used to develop the renovation plans in greater detail.
