Due to COVID-19, Scotia Village Court has adjourned all in person court proceedings.
If you have an upcoming court date, you will receive an adjournment letter in the mail once we are able to reschedule cases.
If you have a vehicle and traffic ticket you may send your plea to the court address listed on the ticket.
Fine payments and suspension lifts may be mailed in or put in the drop box outside of the court door.

The court office is located upstairs in the firehouse building on the corner of North Ten Broeck Street and Mohawk Avenue in the Village of Scotia. Entrance is on the side of the firehouse building through the doors to the right of the village/police entrance. The office is open during the hours listed below for payment and fines.

Payment should be made in exact cash, money order, or bank certified check. Personal checks are not accepted.
MASTERCARD and VISA are accepted in person with a photo ID.

For your convenience, Village of Scotia has installed a secure PAYMENT DROP BOX located outside the building entrance door. If you would like to make a payment and do not have to be seen by the Clerk or Judge, please leave your first, last name and date of birth along with your payment. If you would like a receipt, please enclose a self addressed, stamped envelope.
Correspondence and payments for the Court Clerk may be left after hours in the payment box.
