- 🎯 Participated in regional Gun Buy Back event in partnership with the NYS Attorney General’s Office, NYSP, and other local LE agencies.
- 💰 Awarded an $84K Grant from NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services for mental health crisis intervention.
- 📸Purchased additional license plate readers and surveillance camera stations (Byrne JAG Grant)
- 🎉Annual Scotia Fireworks Event Security Detail completed.

- 🇺🇸 Memorial Day Parade security handled.
- 🎯 Firearms instructor training completed.
- 🔍 Began work with County Street Crimes Task Force. (County-Wide)
- 🌳 Launched Collins Park patrols.
- 🎥 Progress on street surveillance camera installs.
- 🐾 Seized dogs adopted; case resolved.
- 🔧 Glenn’s Garage burglary suspect arrested.
📅 April 2025 Report
- 🏠 Moved to temporary station while existing station is remodeled. (Temp Address of 299 N. Ballston Ave)
- 👮♂️ Full-Time Detective Position implemented, Det. Marchesani promoted.
- 💰 Awarded $50K surveillance camera grant.
- 🚴 Hosted patrol bike course with Glenville PD, 4 new officers certified for Bike Patrol

- 🚗 TAFI Software was purchased and implemented to digitalize evidence tracking and tagging.
- 👮♂️ Hired lateral police officer, department now fully staffed.
- 📋 Chief Halbfinger and SRO Ecker attended School Safety Forum held at Scotia-Glenville Middle School.
📅 December 2024 Report
- 🧭 Awarded Byrne Justice Grant in the amount of $198,000, to purchase two upfit patrol vehicles and evidence management software. (No local tax burden)
- 🎉 Provided security for Holiday on the Ave.
- 📸 Signed contract for five fixed license plate readers to be installed within the Village.

- 🎓 Officer Falkowitz attended Investigator School.
- 🧒 Officer Peck trained in child advocacy investigations.
- 🚨 Assembly Candidate arrested for mail theft.
- 📋 Ofc. Kuhlmeier selected to be promoted to Sergeant

- 🏢 New LiveScan booking equipment installed
- ☕ Participated in National Coffee with a Cop Day.
- 🚲 Acquired 3 brand new patrol bicycles from Freemans Bridge Sports.
- 🔓 Arrest made in Nibble Nosh burglary.
